Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a meticulous and experienced Electrical Quality and Test Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of printed circuit boards (PCBs), cables, harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies and COTS items produced for government contracts. This role will involve meticulous inspection, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with strict quality standards and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough inspection and testing of PCBs, cables, harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies and COTS items according to established procedures and specifications.
Identify and document any defects, deviations, or non-conformances, and work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve issues.
Conduct functional testing, including electrical and mechanical testing, to ensure products meet performance requirements.
Utilize a variety of testing equipment and tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated testing systems.
Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and quality documentation.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reliability, and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical testing and quality inspection, preferably in a manufacturing or government contracting environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical principles, circuits, and components.
Understanding of inspection standards to include:
IPC-A-600 - Acceptability of Printed Boards
IPC-A-610 – Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies
IPC/WHMA-A-620 – Cable and Wiring Harness Assemblies
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Experience with testing equipment and tools used in electronics manufacturing.
Familiarity with quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance as required for government contracts.

Salary Range:
$25.34 - $44.33
