The Cloud Engineer III will be responsible for the engineering and operations of next-generation hybrid multi-cloud environment with on-prem and cloud resources, Tier III platform support and change control process. This individual will also work closely with applications, cyber security, architects, and other teams to ensure services are designed to meet SNC’s needs, and are meeting SLA along with adhering to SNC’s security and compliance requirements.

The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber. Must-haves:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 6 or more years of relevant experience

• Higher education may substitute for relevant experience

• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

• Relevant experience includes implementing and supporting AWS and Azure Cloud Operations, implementing and supporting VMware (VRealize, VRealize Operations, VRealize Automation), designing and implementing cloud solutions using IAAS and PAAS, and experience with IT Operations Monitoring Tools (PRTG, VROperations, Solarwinds)

• Ability to Trouble shoot Network connectivity between Server Infrastructure

• Understanding of Active Directory Federation Services

• Ability to configure and manage Windows and Linux servers

• Certifications

o AWS Cloud Foundations

OR

o Azure Fundamentals

Preferred:

• Ability to configure and manage Windows and Linux servers

• Experience implementing and supporting Puppet or Ansible

• 1-3 years’ experience setting up AWS cloudwatch

• 1-3 years’ experience setting up Azure Monitoring

• Certifications

• AWS Cloud Associate level Certification

• Azure Associate level Certification
