5-D Systems, a KRATOS Company, is a growing defense contractor headquartered in Round Rock, TX with over twenty years’ experience providing systems and software engineering for Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Systems Engineering Technical Support to Government Program Offices.
5-D Systems, a KRATOS Company, is seeking a highly motivated candidate in support of our customer located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, who will serve as an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Analysis Team Product Owner (PO).
The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Analysis Team Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). The product owner will provide oversight and prioritization of the Analysis team. The product owner will work with Solution management in setting priorities of the team for each product increment and sprint. The position will include technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts on the IFMC mission.
Required Experience:
US Citizenship
US Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics
Minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above
Fluent Microsoft Office toolset
Experience running end-to-end simulations of missile defense systems and performing post run analysis
Ability to work with multiple customers and prioritize competing requests with management support.
Other Qualifications:
- Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS. Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM or KANBAN team is a plus.
