Aerotek Maintenance Technician in HUNTLEY, Illinois

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for running preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment on the production floor. This includes mostly mechanical work along with some electrical and hydraulic tasks. Your responsibilities will include installing motors, working on chillers, changing out filtration units, and collaborating with the production team to resolve any issues during the shift. You will also handle some facilities maintenance tasks such as light plumbing, HVAC, changing out lights, fixing forklifts, and general building upkeep.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in HUNTLEY, Illinois.

Work Environment

1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday, overtime as needed. The work environment is clean, bright, and air-conditioned, with music playing daily. The setting is laid back yet productive, featuring 24 welding booths, a machining area, and a laser cutting machine.
