ManpowerGroup Legal Assistant-Paralegal in Huntington, West Virginia
Our client in Huntington is looking for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal experienced in Medical Malpractice.
Pay: 23.75-40.50 based on experience
Schedule- Mon-Fri - Does require some travel
Duties :
-Assist attorneys with case research, preparing legal documents and other tasks to assist in case resolution.
-MUST be available to travel when needed. Usually 3 days to a week when needed for a case.
General Accountabilities
Organizes, enters and cross-references documents in a computerized database.
Obtains, assembles and organizes documents pertinent to litigation or other types of cases.
Prepares legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, appeals, wills, contracts, and real estate closing statement.
Investigate facts and law of cases and search pertinent sources, such as public records and internet sources.
Meet with clients and other professionals to discuss details of the matter.
File pleadings with the court clerk.
Assists attorneys in carrying out special projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications
MUST have medical malpractice litigation experience
Education: Associate degree
Experience: 1-2 years of related experience
