Huntington County Government Living Unit Coordinators--Community Corrections Full in Huntington, Indiana
Huntington County Community Corrections Department has Openings for Full Time and Part Time Living Unit Coordinators for the Restorative Residential Work Release/Community Corrections department.
This position is responsible for the daily supervision of participants of the work release program utilizing prescribed policies and procedures, ensures a secure, safe and humane environment for individuals serving executed sentences through the use of evidence based practices.
A successful candidate will have successfully completed a High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in the area of criminal justice, social work, or counseling.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to empower program participants to make life-changing decisions by providing appropriate and specific evaluation, analysis and problem-solving techniques.
A successful candidate must have the ability to provide public access to or maintain confidentiality of department information and records according to state requirements, as well as work with a diverse group of people.
Pay is up to $19.81 per hour, DOQ/E. Individual must be flexible to work hours outside of business hours and possibly weekends.
