Mick George Residential Sales Coordinator in Huntingdon, United Kingdom

Here at the Mick George Group, we are hiring a Residential Sales Coordinator

Monday – Friday between the hours of 7am to 6pm – Saturdays when required.

Role Overview:

The role will heavily rely on a positive, customer service focused individual who thrives in fast paced environment. Day to day answering the phone lines to our residential market, pricing our services, understanding what the works are and cross selling multiple services and products. Ensuring the customer has the ultimate experience where they can, using our systems to efficiently create the quotation, send to the customer and covert to an order. 

Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming sales calls from existing and new residential customers

  • Pricing Residential and Construction customers’ sales enquiries using the pricing resources provided.

  • Taking orders and processing payments for residential customers that you have quoted.

  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities and gathering further information on all enquiries.

  • Offer a high level of customer service, ensuring a positive customer journey.

  • Tailoring sales approach to suit the customer.

  • Managing residential online enquiries & skip sales inbox

  • Responding to emails in a professional and timely manor

  • Understanding the needs and requirements for the residential market

  • Entering all quotations into the CRM system, recording notes, and maintaining your individual priority pipeline by continuing contact with the customer

  • Converting quotations into orders via strong sales knowledge and regular customer contact.

  • Cross-referencing daily online enquiries created to ensure all cross-selling opportunities are maximised.

  • Building quick relationships with customers

  • Undertaking sales/marketing campaigns

  • Meet KPI’s for Sales campaigns and proactive call outs.

  • Upholding a high service level across residential phone lines

  • Managing price increases as and when the business needs

  • Understanding the portals and encouraging companies to use them.

  • Feeding back KPI statistics to management on a weekly basis

  • Working with the Sales Team to pro-actively work through Trade pipeline.

  • Providing feedback to manager on competitors and market information

  • Work closely with Sales Supervisor to ensure a joint approach to residential customers and online promotions.

    Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Computer literate & Microsoft Office Skills

  • Flexibility to get tasks completed as needed with excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to work under instruction whilst using own initiative where necessary.

  • Highly organised with a polite and confident telephone manner

  • Previous experience within the construction/ aggregates/ waste industry would be advantageous but not essential.

  • Driven and pro-active individual.
