Description
We are in search of a Paralegal to join our team located in Hunt Valley, Maryland. This role revolves around trust and estates law, with a heavy emphasis on client correspondence and documentation management. This job offers a short-term contract employment opportunity, where you will be working closely with attorneys and clients.
For the right candidate, employment might be considered on a temp to perm basis.
Responsibilities:
• Drafting and formatting legal documents using Word
• Managing and preparing legal correspondence
• Utilizing Clio for case and calendar management
• Sending letters to clients and other parties
• Ensuring appropriate follow-up actions with clients and attorneys
• Maintaining and organizing legal files efficiently
Requirements • Possess strong knowledge and understanding of legal correspondence.
• Proficient in calendar management, with the ability to schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and deadlines.
• Capable of drafting detail oriented letters, memorandums, and other legal documents.
• Proven experience in managing and organizing legal files, ensuring they are updated and easily accessible.
