PURPOSE OF POSITION
Have an understanding of the different paints and chemicals, and the respective processes required. Have basic computer skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize orders through the paint booth, as well as assisting in the Assembly and Boxing areas to get product ready and shipped to the customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
More specifically, the employee owner will:
Make sure all chemicals are stored, used, and disposed of properly
Paint all required products correctly, and will exceptional quality
Assist in ordering paint and paint related equipment, as needed
Understand and use/interpret shipping paperwork, shipping orders, transfer sheet(s), packing list, and tagging process
Continually participate in additional training related to the job
Clean and maintain paint booth and equipment
Assist in Assembly and Boxing, as needed
Perform required preventative maintenance
Regular & consistent attendance
Perform all activities in a manner that protects and promotes the health, safety and welfare of fellow workers, the community and the environment. Know and observe all plant safety rules applicable to your work. Report all unsafe practices and conditions to your supervisor at the first opportunity.

Basic computer skills.
Know how to read a tape measure.
Ability to complete orders on short notice to meet customer expectations.
Regular, consistent attendance.
EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE – COMPUTER SKILLS
High school diploma or a general education degree (GED); or
One to three months related experience and/or training; or
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
TRAINING – CERTIFICATIONS – LICENSES
- Continually participate in additional training related to the job.

Must be able to frequently stoop/bend.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.

ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY
The noise level in the work environment is usually LOUD.
Consistently work will take place in moderate temperature to humid.
Frequent exposure to head, humidity and industrial equipment.
Respirator use will be required
Frequent work around hot and sharp knives.
Occasional exposure to weather extremes, steam and heat from autoclave.
Steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection
