DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Plant Attendant Technician to join our Maintenance Department in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. This is a middle shift role hours of work would be 3pm - 10:15pm Monday to Friday
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Ensure Safety Compliance: Prioritize health, safety, and environmental standards by promptly addressing hazards, using appropriate protective equipment, and participating in HSE training.
Enhance Equipment Reliability: Troubleshoot, assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems to ensure maximum equipment availability and capability.
Promote High-Quality Workmanship: Apply high standards of craftsmanship and perform quality inspections to support equipment uptime and reduce quality exposures.
Mentor and Instruct Team Members: Share expertise by instructing and coaching less experienced team members, acting as an informal resource.
Contribute to Preventive Maintenance: Provide feedback for the preventive maintenance system and document maintenance activities to support continuous equipment performance.
Support Continuous Improvement: Engage in activities aimed at reducing manufacturing constraints, solving problems, and improving processes.
Maintain a Clean Work Environment: Ensure a clean and orderly workspace, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks.
Collaborate Effectively: Communicate effectively with team members and support teams, actively participating in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to improve quality, safety, and workflow.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
Previous experience in routine PPM maintenance tasks ideal but not essential
Experience in removing pumps and tanks would be ideal
Apprentice training would be ideal but not necessary
Relevant training will be provided to the right candidate
