Job description
We are hiring for an energetic and proactive Renewal Account Senior Manager, to join our China Sales team . This is an important entrepreneurial position within the team and an excellent opportunity to learn and develop within a high-growth company.
This role is for you if you are a versatile and tenacious sales professional and you like to work independently as well as collaboratively with Sales and Client Success team members to deliver outstanding client service and maximize the value of the global business.
You will report into the SME selling manager and be in a sales position focused on growth of our strategic small and medium sized clients (approx. 40 -50 clients) with a focus on the larger and more strategic clients in these segments.
Key duties and responsibilities
In this role as Account Management, Senior Manager, you will:
Achieve or exceed retention and growth goals within your client segments including, but not limited to, pharmaceutical, biotech, financial and consulting sectors.
Manage the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to closing the sale
Develop great professional relationships with all clients and prospects to maximise lifetime value of each account
Work as partner and pro-actively uncover opportunities for additional users, products or services to maximise account value
Use a full range of communication, sales and negotiation frameworks to expand Citeline’s services to existing clients.
Work closely with Citeline’s Product Management and Client Success teams to share feedback from client interactions and strive for continuous improvements in Citeline’s offerings
Follow-up all leads to establish new points of contact within assigned accounts within SLAs and document all activities in Citeline’s Salesforce CRM system
Document and manage all business development activities, account plans and territory plans through the full application of Citeline’s sales processes
Provide accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline reports and sales forecasts on a weekly basis
Generate new leads through traditional and professionally creative methods

Key requirements
You have had relevant experience in B2B sales, with some exposure and experience selling to pharmaceutical, financial and/or consulting clients
You have experience selling data, intelligence, terminals or SaaS solutions
You have an understanding of how analysis and information supports strategic decision making
You have a track record of over-achieving sales or quota or related goals with large customers
You have proven ability to plan, prepare, execute, and review professional meetings to achieve strategic objectives and win/win outcomes with clients
You have an ability to establish rapport quickly with a demanding and expert client base
You have experience in utilising Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems (Salesforce)
