Logitech Regional Health, Safety & Security Manager AP in Hsinchu, Taiwan

The Team and Role:

The Regional Health, Safety & Security (HSS) Manager AsiaPac is responsible for the implementation and management of the HSS programs, and supporting Logitech operations and business continuity program within the Region.

Based in Taiwan and reporting to the Head of Global Health, Safety and Security, you are a member of the Global Workplace Experience (WPE) team, managing the AP HSS function at Logitech.

In this role you will:

  • Work with the Head of Global Health, Safety and Security and WPS teams on managing HSS in supporting the Logitech business operations, within the Region, and actively contributing to the Global HSS program.

  • Champion a culture of Health, Safety and Security by ensuring compliance with regional and local regulations.

  • Implement and administer programs to protect the safety and well-being of Logitech’s employees, and ensure arrangements are in place to protect Logitech property and assets from theft, sabotage, violence, or any other situations that may present a risk to our people or facilities.

  • Work with HSS, WPE and Functional and Office Leads on emergency response and loss prevention programs, crisis management and business continuity planning.

  • Plan, implement and manage required HSS training.

  • Act as an internal and external ‘Regional point of contact’ for all health, safety and physical security matters, including representing Logitech in interactions with enforcement agencies.

  • Engage and manage HSS vendors, where they are required, on their delivery of services to Logitech.

  • Work with the Logitech Security Manager on our office's physical security requirements and projects, and collaborate with the Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) in the management and response to incidents that occur within the region.

  • Contribute to and support the WPE capital projects aligned to the Logitech portfolio management program for the region.

  • Effectively manage the budget planning and spend for regional HSS costs, to align with the WPE global Capex and Opex approved budgets.

Key Technical Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • English and Mandarin are mandatory for this role, an additional AsiaPac language is a plus.

  • Taiwan Category A Training certificate for a Supervisor in charge of labor safety and health.

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in managing a HSS function for a multi-site organization within the AsiaPac region.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the varied HSS regulatory requirements within the AsiaPac region.

  • Proficient and competent with risk assessment methodologies.

  • Knowledge / experience of business Continuity and crisis management principles and practices.

  • An understanding of Human Resource issues / legislation as applied to health, safety and security.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to adapt to the changing, fast growth environment in meeting customer expectations.

  • Service-oriented mindset to provide professional support to the business.

  • Competent in Google and Microsoft applications.

  • A third level Health, Safety / Security/ Risk Management qualification is required.
