Logitech Gaming Embedded System Architect in Hsinchu, Taiwan

The Role:

The Embedded System Architect is responsible for defining the overall architecture and design of new products.

  • Take ownership of the embedded system architecture of Gaming products

  • Capture User Experience and Product Management needs, making sure they are consistent, complete, correct, and operationally defined

  • Lead system solution design, with Electrical Engineers and Software Architects

  • Ensure products are well defined before the development starts to streamline the effort and provide full support afterwards

  • Define the architecture with modularity, reuse and testability in mind, anticipates extensions and modifications in future stages

  • Guide and mentor team members in the implementation of the solutions

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • 7+ years’ experience in Embedded Software Engineering

  • 3+ years’ experience in Software / System Architecture

  • Strong knowledge of UML / SysML

  • Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical individuals

  • Experience in full lifecycle software development of real-time embedded system, including system design and analysis, requirement capture and development, software implementation and verification, system integration, qualification and releasing

  • Be able to technically lead and develop a team of developers who might be geographically distributed.

Education:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
