Applied Materials FPM Product Line Management Field Focal IV - (E4) in Hsinchu, Taiwan

Spares Business Unit (SBU) of Applied Global Services (AGS) develops and manages innovative service products to assure the right spare part is delivered to the right place at the right time. As Product Line Manager you will be part of Forecasted Part Management (FPM) group. FPM is a fast-growing subscription-based spares product.

FPM Product Line Management (PLM) Field Focal is a business and product management role. Product Line Manager represents SBU in desired region. Develops and applies strategies for driving growth in FPM revenue and market share. Works closely with Sales and Business Development on new penetrations, contract renewals and deal structure. The role requires in-depth knowledge and experience. Uses best practices and knowledge of internal and external business practices to improve our Spares product / service business. Leads cross functional teams, such as FPM Program Management, Order Management, Planning, Order Fulfillment, Contract Management or Legal.

Key Responsibilities

· Identifies opportunities to achieve further FPM growth and drives related strategies and program activities.

· Ensures FPM product execution according to the POA, policies and strategic objectives.

· Evaluates and recommends on how most effectively deploy resources to achieve business objectives.

· Provides leadership and direction to the dedicated regional FPM Program Managers (FPM PM). Ensures FPM growth thru consistent product delivery. Recommends and coordinates FPM PMs’ training and development.

· Facilitates and hosts FPM PM forum.

· Develops methods and tools to monitor FPM performance in regards of the proper: forecast accuracy, spares stock allocation, order processing and revenue recognition.

· Oversees FPM contracts’ execution from booking thru renewal, identifies gaps to target, directs corrective actions to mitigate the “off target” issues.

· Supports FPM enhancement activities such as Business Requirement Document (BRD), design reviews, integration and user acceptance testing (UAT), training, reporting, communication, conversion and rollout plans.

Functional Knowledge

· Profound knowledge of Applied Materials spares supply network, order processing and fulfillment; proficient in data mining, analysis, and presentation.

· AGS field experience is a plus.

Business Expertise

· Knowledge of AGS service POA and how own area integrates with others.

· General spares business acumen.

Leadership

· Leads regional FPM PM teams and mentors less experienced PLMs.

Problem Solving

· Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.
