Responsibilities:The incumbent is expected to

The Application Engineer provides engineering, design, technical service, and customer support for the sale of TEM products. This role provides technical expertise to internal and external company resources by providing recommendations regarding company products and their use in a variety of industries and applications.
The Application Engineer is to understand all product features, advantages of each product, how the product is commonly utilized in various applications, and how to troubleshoot common problems seen in the field.
“TENDERING / QUOTING” process (workload estimation 60%):
Knowledgeable of entire product portfolio and display technical expertise regarding their limitations and applications in coordination with Manager.
Provide technical support, working directly with internal and external customers to understand specific technical requirements, installation issues, and ultimately recommend appropriate product/solution that will meet their needs.
Design of Product solutions to meet customer’s needs
Coordination with Manager of technical data sheets and technical product specifications.
Support CSD to create add value solution for sales quotes, and additional extended support for large projects quotes, helping CS to fulfil all technical requirements of the product.
ORDER EXECUTION process (workload estimation 15%):
Collaborate with manufacturing and procurement teams to facilitate the fabrication of non-standard products and coordinate project production schedule in timely manner.
Collaborate in a team approach with employees across multiple functions and departments including Customer Service, Manufacturing, Procurements, QA/QC and Sales.
SITE VISIT/SUPERVISION process (workload estimation 25%):
Support Sales Team with customer visits to present technology, understand customer specific needs and present solution proposals.
Support and supervise installation of Product Solutions at customer sites.
Overnight travel expected 25% of time.

Qualifications/ Experience:
B.S. degree or greater from an accredited college or university in Engineering or a related field, preferably in mechanical, materials science or chemistry.
Self-motivated, competence in personal time and strong project management skills are expected.
Proven technical skills with sales-oriented view.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, customer service and sales skills.
Proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling with Solidworks or CAD.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
ERP experience (NAVISION / SAP / etc)
