Description
Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client seeking a Tax Manager. This Tax Manager will be an expert in tax returns and financial statements and have strong skills in Excel and tax software. If you are an experienced Tax Manager looking for a challenging role at an established company, this may be the role for you.
Tax Manager Responsibilities:
Support with management of the preparation of quarterly tax projections and communication of required estimated tax payments
Aid in in planning and compliance regarding tax matters, such as waivers and tax returns
Prepare and examine complex income tax returns
Examine and oversee quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
Provide accounting managers and staff accountants with tax best business practices
Help with compliance of tax and financial reporting procedures and policies
Review and distribute W-2s and 1099s
Take part in reviewing all financial statements for quality control
Put together and analyze tax correspondence and facilitation and oversight of tax audits
Requirements
Tax Manager Requirements:
CPA Required
2+ years of supervisory experience
Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required
4-5 years' experience in Public Tax accounting
