job summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst with expertise in the performance polymers and engineered components field. The ideal candidate will analyze production data, monitor key performance metrics, and identify trends to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop actionable insights, improve processes, and optimize resource utilization within the manufacturing environment

responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to manufacturing processes, production performance, and product quality.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across production and quality control.

  • Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement within the manufacturing processes, and provide data-driven recommendations.

  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to enhance data collection methods and ensure accuracy.

  • Generate reports on manufacturing performance, including production output, efficiency, waste, and downtime analysis.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing data analysis and insights to optimize production processes.

  • Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing issues by analyzing related data and providing possible solutions.

  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across various data sources and systems.

  • Participate in regular meetings to present findings and suggest process optimization strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Familiarity with performance polymers, engineered components, and manufacturing processes.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, or data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices is a plus.
