Performs full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontract administration. Qualifies suppliers, issues requests for proposals, evaluates proposals, maintain subcontract files in accordance to established procedures. Oversees and performs the full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work on a project. Under general supervision, solves problems requiring knowledge of field and industry best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Issuing requests for information (RFIs)
Prepares subcontract documents and amendments, including identification and inclusion of flow down requirements from the prime contract
Performing commercial evaluations of proposals
Negotiation of subcontracts
Issuance of properly authorized awards/subcontracts
Timely resolution of Subcontractor Claims
Cradle to grave subcontract management (pre-award to file closeout)
Serves as liaison between subcontractor and project manager
Issuing requests for proposals (RFPs)
- Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
