Sr. Technical Professional - Software Engineering

Sr. Technical Professional - Software Engineering (Multiple Positions), KBR Wyle Services, LLC, Houston, TX:

Collaborate with the business analysis team to define user requirements. Create technical specifications for user requirements. Design and develop web application using ASP.net, Web API, HTML5, Angular, JavaScript and CSS. Design and develop REST web services using ASP.net. Write SQL Stored Procedures to retrieve data from database. Follow modern software development practices, including unit testing, continuous integration, and configuration management. Work as a member of large team including other developers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and Project Manager, interacting with related teams on new product development. Deploy applications to the cloud. Develop software applications using Agile process. Use Git for software code version control.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information systems or a related field and 5 years of related progressive post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information systems or a related field and 3 years of related experience.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in all of the following:

• .net, IIS, HTML5, SQL Server, C#, and JavaScript;

• ASP.net MVC;

• Rest API, and Entity Framework;

• Creating, reading and updating data by writing stored procedures using SQL Server;

• Coding, testing, and debugging software using Visual Studio; and

• Designing and developing web applications and services using ASP.net, CSS, HTML, and REST API.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in Angular and Git.
