Quiddity Sr. Project Manager - Water / Wastewater in Houston, Texas

As a Senior Project Manager on our Water / Wastewater team, you will have the opportunity to apply and grow your engineering, project and people leadership skills in Water / Wastewater. Our well-established and successful Water / Wastewater practice continues to expand in Houston (and other Texas metros)and could benefit from additional experienced talent to support and develop our teams and clients on a wide variety of projects. Our Houston area offices are in Bellaire, Katy, The Woodlands. Relocation assistance provided.

Quiddity Engineering’s 150+ person water/wastewater related team focuses on a wide array of water & wastewater project types (new, expansion, rehabilitation, replacement) and sizes up to 100 MGD across the State of Texas:

  • Water Conveyance– new and rehab water lines up to 108” diameter

  • Water Treatment – groundwater plants, water wells, surface water treatment plants. Currently, specializing in facilities up to 20 MGD

  • Wastewater Collection – new and rehab of sanitary sewer lines up to 72” diameter

  • Wastewater Treatment – process analysis, wastewater treatment plants, sludge processing facilities, reclaimed water systems. Currently, specializing in facilities up to 20 MGD

  • Pump & Lift Stations – sanitary lift stations, potable water pump stations, storm water pump stations up to 95 MGD

  • Electrical & Instrumentation – low and medium power supply, monitoring, and controls for water & wastewater facilities, lighting design, generators, SCADA development, PLC programming

  • Construction Management & Inspection – full time oversight of contractors working on public water & wastewater facilities that average total $400M in aggregate

  • Municipal Permitting: TPDES permitting, MS4 program development and management, industrial user pretreatment program development and management

  • Water & Wastewater modeling & planning – development of systemwide models to support development of CIPs and Master Plans

  • Water District Management – supporting 100 water districts across Texas; consultation, utility extensions, sidewalks, parks, CIP development

Requirements

In this role, you will be working with the Water / Wastewater team and other Quiddity practice areas to:

  • provide expertise in water / wastewater systems and treatment plant strategies, evaluation, modeling, design, and construction including:

  • treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, odor control systems, water wells, and other utility water systems and facilities

  • municipal and facility master planning, evaluation, rehabilitation and expansion

  • leading and collaborating with other engineering leaders on project scope, proposal, design, presentation, resourcing, scheduling, and management

  • coaching, mentoring and developing other engineers and staff

  • managing and building client relationships

  • managing project and area budgets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other engineering discipline

  • Professional Engineering registration - Texas preferred

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States; we are unable to provide sponsorship for employment visa status at this time
