PROJECT SUMMARY

The KBR PSAB Program provides comprehensive BASE OPERATING SUPPORT-INSTALLATION (BOS-I) services at Prince Sultan Air Base (PSAB) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). These services are delivered to support the 378 Air Expeditionary Wing (AEW), mission partners, and tenant units, encompassing a diverse range of personnel including transient, temporary duty (TDY), permanent party, and rotational personnel. Additionally, the program extends its services to encompass five (5) remote Army sites within PSAB. This program ensures the seamless functioning of operations, maintenance, and support activities essential for the sustained mission readiness and operational effectiveness of PSAB and its associated units.

POSITION SUMMARY

As the Laborer Foreman, you supervise and assist fellow KBR partners and subcontracted personnel in their daily tasks. Provide management and leadership when and where needed to keep all employees engaged. Work with our customers and execute customer service skills. Have the ability to learn and work across a wide spectrum of KBR-led areas on PSAB including Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR); Fitness Centers; the Learning Resource Center; a Full-Service Laundry facility; Lodging; Food Service Operations; Bottled Water Distribution; Power Production; and provide Escort to other country national (OCN) personnel as needed. Coordinate with work center leadership in operations and continuous improvements in all areas. Gain proficiencies in multiple areas and gain experience to grow into an ideal KBR member to better poise yourself for coordinator and management positions.

Additionally, you will oversee the timely completion of required reports and tasks in alignment with company and USAF standards. Your role will require a proactive and well-organized approach, coupled with a results-oriented mindset, to effectively coordinate all activities and ensure mission success. You will need to demonstrate exceptional teamwork skills, collaborating closely with colleagues to achieve common goals. Moreover, your willingness and ability to work extended hours when necessary to meet mission requirements will be crucial to the smooth operation of services.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are essential for this position. You will be expected to interact effectively with personnel of diverse backgrounds and maintain positive relationships while delivering high-quality support. ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process personnel to and from the PSAB Visitors Control Center according to USCENTCOM escorting procedures.

  • Provide escorting support to Other Country Nationals (OCNs) in designated CES & FSS areas identified by the Site Manager.

  • Escort un-cleared personnel and monitor maintenance and BOS-I services.

  • Maintain logs of OCN contractors, conduct personnel counts before and after duties, and inform relevant personnel of escorted individuals and vehicles.

  • Communicate with OCN personnel at designated entry facilities, briefing them on rules and procedures upon badge issuance.

  • Monitor OCN work progress and ensure work zones are cleared by trained Force Protection military personnel.

  • Prevent OCNs from bringing prohibited items onto the base.

  • Maintain visual oversight of vehicles and personnel during monitoring duties.

  • Ensure safety and welfare of oneself and monitored personnel, including evacuation procedures in case of an attack.

  • Notify Project/Site Manager and Safety staff promptly of any unsafe working conditions.

  • Maintain alertness and respond appropriately to any arising situations, reporting suspicious behaviors or comments of TCN/OCNs.

  • Provide administrative and support services to deliver BOS-I.

  • Coordinate activities to facilitate efficient project/site operation.

  • Complete required reports and tasks in compliance with established policies, procedures, and company requirements.

  • Perform routine assignments and duties under direct supervision to support PSAB services.

  • Assist site leadership in fulfilling contractual reporting requirements to the United States Government.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with all levels of management, client personnel, and subcontractors.

  • Promote and uphold KBR’s Zero Harm safety program policies and procedures.

  • Ensure successful service delivery to approximately 4,000 personnel, with a variance of plus or minus 10%.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • General knowledge and experience with facility and equipment operations and maintenance as well as with food and MWR services.

  • U.S. Citizen with a current U.S. Driver's License.

  • Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 13 months of remaining validity AND 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining.

  • Active U.S. SECRET Security Clearance and/or ability to obtain.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.

  • Candidates must also meet CENTCOM MOD-15 theater requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience delivering DOD BASE OPERATING SUPPORT-INSTALLATION (BOS-I) or similar work in an overseas or contingency environment. USAF experience is Highly Desired.

  • USAF Security, Admin, and Technical AFSC or another similar Military/DOD MOS

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience in contingency environments as well as knowledge & experience working with government contracts.

    Material & Equipment

  • May be exposed to potentially hazardous conditions that require wear of hard hats, gloves, steel toed boots, hearing protection, safety glasses and other personal protection equipment (PPE); may be required to push, pull and lift heavy equipment.

  • Use of Land Mobile Radios, cell phones, laptops, and other devices to maintain contact and accountability of work activities.

  • Learn to use work center specific equipment such as food preparation & cooking equipment in the DFAC; washers & dryers in the Laundry; assembly of room items & furniture in Lodging; tools used in power production & maintenance. Training is available on all equipment that may be used.

    Working Environment

  • Work will be indoors and outdoors.

  • Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals may occur.

  • Overtime and shift work may be required depending on contractual needs as well as occasional travel.

  • Employees must comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations and published Company work rules as well as written instructions.

  • Task specific work environment training may be provided.

  • Must be prepared to function in a wartime or contingency environment to support U.S. interests.

    Physical Activities

  • Physical requirements include lifting up to 35lb, team lifting up to 50lbs, climbing, extended sitting, or standing, stooping, stretching, and bending.

  • Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as, hearing and eye protection, hard hat, and steel-toed boots as well as Individual Protective Equipment (IPE) which may include but not limited to Level III plus/IV Individual Body Armor with both front and back ballistic plates, ACH helmet, clothing (undergarments, shirts and pants and/or coveralls), reflective vests/belts, sound suppression devices, etc.

  • Day-to-day physical requirements may involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs. frequently, etc.

  • Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking upstairs.
