Project HR Coordinator

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. KBR is looking for a Project HR Coordinator to collaborate with key stakeholders across KBR to provide clear and consistent HR support to project personnel and deliverables. We are looking for a candidate with proven expertise in all aspects of HR including recruitment, immigration, and compliance.

The Project HR Coordinator will support a specific project and maintain contact with project stakeholders. At times work may be necessary outside normal work hours due to possible recruitment in different time zones.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Stakeholder Management

  • Act as point of contact for all HR related queries arising from project resources and management.

  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to provide prompt resolution of issues and proactive responses.

  • Create strong partnerships with various internal organizations (Talent Acquisition and Business Leaders) to facilitate business requirements.

  • Monitor project progress as it relates to the project staffing plan.

  • Help interpret business needs, develop, and implement innovative solutions and evaluate their effectiveness to meet stakeholder expectations.

  • Compliance

  • Advocate adherence to HR procedures and processes among stakeholders.

  • Where appropriate, review all exceptions to HR procedures and propose amendments to ensure continued fit for purpose.

  • Prior Approval Form (PAF) Coordination

  • Responsible for following the contractual and procedural requirements related to PAF on a large project.

  • Coordinate all supporting documentation required by the client to prepare PAF’s.

  • Prepare revisions to the PAF due to any changed, such as salary increases, promotions, resignation, etc.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related discipline.

  • 5 + years of experience in HR with demonstrated ability to lead and partner with cross functional teams.

  • Previous experience supporting international projects.

  • Proven ability to successfully support global hires, to follow global local laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

  • Exceptional level of customer service for the business and internal clients, and mitigate unforeseen problems effectively.

  • Proficient in HR best practices, legal requirements and tools governing the recruitment and movement of employees.

  • Experience in vendor management, including contract negotiations, performance evaluation, and relationship building.
