Job Description

As a vital member of our team, you'll collaborate across departments to gather data and derive insightful analytics from a diverse array of sources.
This junior-level position is designed for individuals eager to dive deep into the world of analytics. You'll work closely with seasoned Analytics Team Members, gaining invaluable experience at every stage of analysis. Your role will involve using our in-house tools and industry-standard practices to code qualitative data, refine data sets, conduct quantitative analysis under the guidance of senior Team Members, and contribute to the creation of comprehensive reports and presentations.

Primary Responsibilities:
Support Senior Data Analyst and Director of Performance Analytics in creating dashboards, modeling data, generating reports
Import, cleans, transforms, or manipulates data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision-making purposes.
Assist with the preparation and packaging of reporting deliverables, both recurring and ad hoc
Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports.
Analyze external and internal customer data using database queries (SQL), spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools, statistical analysis tools, and campaign management software tools.
Perform basic qualitative and quantitative analysis under the supervision of more senior staff
Create professional data visualizations to support communicating insights
Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and disciplined. Must possess effective customer service, organizational and communication skills. Must have the ability to develop rapport and gain trust across all teams within the organization.
Analytic skills
Advanced skills with MS Office Products, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic to build trusted, collaborative relationships with internal clients and with vendors; should have good listening skills, project management skills, and the ability to give creative direction and follow projects to completion.
2 years of work experience in marketing research, statistical or data analysis (or academic equivalent), ideally in a marketing analytics setting
Communication skills
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Data visualization skills
Strong work ethic and professional appearance. Establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with others. Be punctual, manage time effectively and accept responsibility.
Strong organizational, planning and self-management skills.
Ability to prioritize time well, manage several projects at once and work under deadlines.
