Mechanical Assembler:
• The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling fabricated parts into large or heavy subassemblies and complete units, testing and calibrating parts to ensure they meet tolerances and product specifications.
•Accurately assemble fabricated parts to relatively large or heavy subassemblies and complete units.
•Operate material handling devices and lifts including pallet jacks, scissor lifts, mobile floor cranes, etc.
•Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
•Uses basic hand and power tools including wrenches, pliers, drills, and impacts.
•Read and understand engineered drawings to assemble units per the correct specifications.
•May work as part of a subgroup or as an individual – depending on the task.
•Use a propane hand torch to apply shrink wrap material to product prior to shipping.
•Build shipping pallets as required.
•Perform workplace safety protocols, including proper tool usage, lifting techniques, and hazard identification.
•Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations.
This is NOT assembly line work. Assembly Line workers can be considered for a different position.
Pay scale: $20-28/hr.
Shift: Evening/Overnight 4:30-2AM.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00
