Job Summary
The purpose of having this role is planning of materials orders, maintenance and control of planning parameters, planning of demand and deliveries and purchasing of inter-company materials. This role is Implementing material planning, inter-company material purchasing, and inventory control to ensure correct supply levels for operation. Need to the liaison of cross functions and internal stakeholders, such as production planning, operations, and quality.
As a Materials Management Analyst II here at HPS, Honeywell Industrial Automation, you will be accountable for gathering and managing information about our business's capacity to meet customer demand. You will report directly to our Materials Management Manager and you'll work out of our 1 location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will facilitate and improve the supply chain planning and execution process within HPS. You will analyze demand and supply balance, develop and maintain master schedules for materials and capacity, and ensure the smooth flow of materials throughout the supply chain. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze demand (historical sales data to predict future material needs) and supply balance and recommend actions to ensure optimal inventory levels. Responsible for maintaining proper inventory to fulfill demand requirements.
Develop and maintain master schedules for materials and capacity.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth material flow and resolve supply chain issues. Work closely with procurement, production planning, Operation team, warehouse management, and other departments to ensure smooth material flow.
Monitor and report on key metrics such as inventory accuracy and on-time delivery.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to drive operational excellence.
Work with Production Scheduler team to provide support on emergencies orders as well as introduction of new products/PIPO. Manage NPI/PIPO and transition projects.
Maintain purchased parts (material/item master) and MRP profiles to ensure the integrity of the SAP Production and Capacity Modules are fully utilized for Purchased products.
Utilize MRP systems to calculate the required raw materials and components needed for production based on demand forecasts and bill of materials. Prepare purchase requisitions, approve and issues purchase.
Track purchasing activity and measurements. Handle and process returns to internal vendor POs.
Correction of discrepancies with quantity, documentation and quality for orders
Adhere to all Honeywell requirements as it regards to purchasing, inventory.
Item PFEP and IOS analysis and execution. Set and adjust PFEP levels with suppliers
Participate in monthly SIOP review meetings
Monitor supply and demand imbalances and communication/escalations. Monitor stock levels, identify potential shortages or overstocking issues, and take corrective actions to maintain optimal inventory levels
Achieve targets related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory (SQDCI).
Engage in tier accountability structure with timely communication and follow-up.
Adhere to Honeywell Safety Management & Environmental system and regulatory compliance.

YOU MUST HAVE
3+ years of experience in supply chain or materials management.
Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools, such as MS Applications, and SAP. A solid understanding of Excel and its various tools and functions.
Experience with utilizing data analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and areas to draw meaningful conclusions for improvement in material management
Strong thoughtful and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify and resolve issues related to material management.
WE VALUE
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Strong experience in materials management and demand planning with a comprehensive understanding of supply chain principles, including forecasting, inventory management, and logistics.
Experience with material control systems such as MRP/SAP.
Ability to lead process improvements, such as analyzing logistics processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements to streamline material flow within the supply chain.
Knowledge in Six Sigma or Lean
Ability to work independently and take direction from others, such as preparing reports on inventory levels, cost analysis, and supply chain performance to key stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and delegate
Proficient in Microsoft applications. Expertise in ERP systems, MRP software, and data analysis tools.
SIOP knowledge
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal & written communication skills. Effective communication with various stakeholders across different departments.
APICS certification is a plus.
