TXRX is seekinga skilled and experienced Lead Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, fitting, and blueprint reading, along with a passion for training and mentoring junior welders. As a Lead Welder, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Welding and Fitting: Perform high-quality welding and fitting tasks on various projects, ensuring all work meets industry standards and specifications.
- Blueprint Reading: Accurately interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and other technical drawings to execute welding tasks precisely.
- Production Oversight: Oversee daily welding operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Training and Mentoring: Develop and deliver training programs for junior welders, providing hands-on instruction and guidance to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Quality Control: Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality and accuracy of welded components, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and other departments to coordinate efforts and resolve any production issues.
