Phillips 66 Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Intelligence Analyst in Houston, Texas

The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Intelligence Analyst is a critical member of the team responsible for protecting Phillips 66 around the clock. This role requires expertise in both open-source intelligence and physical security, along with an understanding of global security threats and trends. The GSOC Intelligence Analyst will support all facets of the Phillips 66 Global Security function and will interact with other corporate functions and business units. In addition to the requirements listed below, the GSOC Intelligence Analyst must be a team player, an effective communicator, and possess a high level of analytical skills.
Responsibilities May Include
Monitoring privately sourced and public information for threats and incidents that could affect the security of the organization’s people, facilities, operations, and reputation.
Independently performing advanced qualitative and quantitative research to analyze potential threats and disseminating analytical findings to leadership to address intelligence requirements and inform decision making.
Functioning as a key information gathering and communications hub to respond to security or safety incidents across the enterprise.
Furthering the development and maintenance of the GSOC’s information and knowledge management tools and processes.
As required, support the monitoring physical security access control systems and take appropriate actions to respond to an alarm, breach, malfunction, or other events; assist onsite contract security staff.
Required Qualifications
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
Experience working as an analyst in a government/military or corporate intelligence center
Ability to work rotating shifts, including on nights, weekends and holidays, and overtime on an as-needed basis
Advanced writing and analytical skills
Intermediate level of proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and CoPilot
Familiarity with physical security threats and trends in the United States
Familiarity with major geopolitical issues
Preferred Qualifications
Beginner to intermediate proficiency using video monitoring, access control, and alarm monitoring applications, preferably Lenel/OnGuard
Knowledge of the oil and gas industry
Experience using a traveler tracking system
Experience utilizing geographic information system and data visualization tools
An intermediate or higher level of proficiency in a language other than English
