On-the-Job Training offers participants the opportunity to earn wages while they learn new skills on the job. The ideal OJT candidate is prepared to interview, ready to go to work, willing to learn new skills in a new environment, values feedback for improvement on the job, and is willing to remain communicative with Workforce Solutions about their experience on the job for up to at least one year after hire.

Meter reader will read utility meter and input reading into portable computer; complete disconnect work order system documentation, including recording the meter serial number; respect the customer's property; access fenced areas when gates are locked; follow company safety procedures; enter work order data using portable computer terminal located within the company vehicle; must demonstrate commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the company's ethics and compliance code and other company policies and procedures, and take all required training courses; must demonstrate respect for all individuals and adhere to the company's values and business practices.
Must pass background check, drug test and have a valid driver's license with good driving record.
