About the Role:

Join CBRE's Energy & Renewables team as a leader dedicated to driving and managing partnership initiatives and operations. This role focuses on cultivating strategic partnerships, supporting day-to-day management of partners, and developing innovative energy products and services. The ideal candidate will independently and collaboratively identify new revenue opportunities while creating value from relationships with internal stakeholders, service providers, renewable energy developers, clients, industry organizations, NGOs, and others.

You will lead and manage relationships to support business development efforts related to energy procurement, community solar, distributed generation, renewable energy tax credits from the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), and utility-scale renewables, including virtual and physical power purchase agreements (VPPAs and PPAs). Additionally, you will leverage insights from partnerships to develop and implement innovative business offerings.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the engagement of external and internal partners to enhance CBRE's position in the renewable energy and energy markets; negotiate and structure partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with business development objectives, conduct invoicing, track progress on objectives, and act as a point-of-contact.

  • Support key business development operations that support the broader Energy & Renewables practice including onboarding partners, revenue tracking, and invoicing,

  • Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with potential partners, including service providers, industry organizations, and internal stakeholders to generate new revenue opportunities.

  • Support the development of renewable and traditional energy products, focusing on energy procurement, community solar, distributed generation, and utility-scale renewables.

  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to shape business development strategies and identify emerging partnership opportunities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and align partnership initiatives with CBRE’s energy and sustainability strategy.

  • Maintain a tracking platform for potential partners and business opportunities, generating regular reports on progress.

  • Represent CBRE Energy & Renewables at industry conferences and networking events.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience working in the power and renewables industry

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational capabilities and an inquisitive mindset.

Travel : Travel requirement up to 30%
