Robert Half Case Manager in Houston, Texas
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Case Manager based in Houston, Texas. This role focuses on assisting clients in a legal setting, specifically in the field of personal injury law. You will be responsible for communicating with clients, medical providers, and other members of the firm, as well as conducting initial client intake and scheduling meetings for attorneys.
Responsibilities:
• Assist clients in finding and liaising with appropriate medical providers.
• Carry out regular follow-ups with clients and medical providers regarding the client's treatment status.
• Provide clients with regular updates on the status of their respective cases.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to our clients.
• Communicate effectively with other members of the firm regarding the treatment status of clients and any related issues.
• Conduct initial client intake via phone, text, email, or in-person.
• Schedule meetings and conference calls for attorneys.
• Meet with clients to discuss their cases and provide updates.
• Translate for attorneys in meetings/calls with Spanish-speaking potential or actual clients.
• Request police reports and insurance policy traces as needed.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for case management and documentation purposes. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Case Manager role or similar.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrable experience in Case Management.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Personal Injury Law.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Certification in case management is a plus.
