Job Summary

The rapidly growing Business Intelligence Group within P&AM is a dedicated development team focused on providing technical insights and data solutions to our clients. We have an exciting opportunity for professionals with backgrounds in Engineering or Construction as well as Computer Science. You'll be key part of a team creating Engineering/Construction Applications and Analytics Dashboards, while liaising with project and practice leaders across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing applications/dashboards/reports which solve our client’s unique problems and provide actionable decision support

  • Creating professional, aesthetically pleasing visualizations to deliver technical data to nontechnical consumers

  • Designingadata modelsand integrateingdata from various sources

  • Validating disparate data sources and storing externally generated data in preparation for analysis

  • Concisely explainingyour methods, reasoning, and conclusions through effective written and oral communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

  • Previous experience in an analytical/data-centric role

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure Design/Construction Projects

  • Basic programming skills (VBA, Python, R, JavaScript)

  • Basic to intermediate knowledgeofSQL

  • Basic knowledge of data integration(/ETL)(APIs, PowerShell)

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform(Power BI, Power Apps,Power Automate)

  • Familiarity with cloud computing services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)

  • Bachelor degree in engineering or professional degree in Sciences in area of expertise preferred with specialized training, or experience that uniquely qualifies the individual to perform the job responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

A minimum total of 3 years of related work experience is typically necessary to move into this level. Graduate work may count as related work experience if directly applicable to job function. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
