As a Business and Sales Manager, You Create Chemistry By...
Engaging across the CCP organization to effectively lead product management, technology management and sales/account management while developing appropriate strategies and relationships that deliver both top-line and bottom-line results within a cross-functional team and matrix organization.
Establishing and maintaining high level relationships to existing key customers and new target customers including international process licensors as well as start-up companies.
Safeguarding Intellectual Property (IP) and know-how owned solely by third party customers and IP/know-how owned jointly by BASF and third-party customers in strict separation from IP and know-how of BASF market catalysts and third-parties.
Directing pricing and negotiating contracts (including long-term supply agreements, marketing alliance agreements, licensing agreements and R&D agreements) with the target to position the business for profitable growth.
Being responsible for the project management of custom catalyst projects from initial disclosure to commercial production including driving R&D, product transfer and production teams.
Collaborating with the Global Business Director in the execution of the global business strategy including establishment and execution of global policies and procedures such (S&OP, Mid-term Outlook, budgeting) with the target to meeting global KPI´s
If you have...
Bachelor´s degree preferably on Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. MBA preferred.
BS and 10 years of experience on a related field or an MBA and 5 years of experience on a related field
Strong communication skills and ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Proven financial skills (P&L understanding, product costing, investments) and robust analytical skills.
Strong project management skills and the ability to drive processes across multiple functions.
