Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the construction industry, located in Houston, Texas. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for various tasks including invoice processing, data validation, and assisting in system transition. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the input of invoices accurately into the company's accounting system.

• Organize invoices in batches for submission and processing.

• Verify all invoice details for accuracy and compliance with company policy before entry.

• Handle invoices from various locations, ensuring they are processed timely and accurately.

• Collaborate with the Accounts Payable Supervisor and team members to support the workflow of the department.

• Assist in transitioning from the current accounting system to SAP, providing accurate data during the implementation phases.

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, SAP, and Batching. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential for managing and resolving discrepancies in financial records.

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.

• Ability to carry out Check Runs to maintain the smooth operation of the company's financial obligations.

• Skilled in Coding Invoices to categorize expenditures correctly for financial reporting.

• High level of accuracy in Data Entry to ensure all financial data is correctly recorded and up-to-date.

• Competency in Invoice Processing to manage payment schedules and resolve any issues.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, financial modeling and reporting.

• Knowledge of SAP software for managing business operations and customer relations.

• Experience in Batching to organize invoices and payments efficiently and accurately.
