We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Houston, Texas. Your primary role will be to manage all facets of accounting operations, generate accurate financial reports, and devise strategic financial plans.

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of all accounting operations, which includes managing accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Develop and maintain financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to track performance.

• Collaborate with senior management for the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.

• Analyze financial data to recognize trends and risks, and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.

• Provide insights based on your analysis to drive profitability and optimize financial performance.

• Oversee financial planning and execution for events to align with company goals.

• Lead and develop the accounting team to achieve individual and collective goals.

• Foster a positive working environment and ensure effective communication across departments.

• Work closely with production teams to manage the financial aspects of touring activities.

Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Accounting Management or Supervision.

• Proficiency in a range of accounting functions, including but not limited to, general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.

• Demonstrated skills in managing Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing, vendor communication, and payment scheduling.

• Proven expertise in financial reporting, with an emphasis on preparing financial statements, budget reports, and financial forecasts.

• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is highly desirable.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and prepare reports.

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of accountants.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements in the accounting field.

• Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

• High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality.
