Job Title: Sr. Accountant

Location: Onsite in Houston TX 77032

Pay: $ $58 – 92K/PA

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the accountant will leverage their knowledge of the company's business systems, processes, and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis. This role involves complex accounting tasks, preparation of journal vouchers, financial variance analysis, and participation in cross-functional projects. The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise in general accounting principles, internal controls, and financial applications, with intermediate proficiency in industry-specific practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure to assigned tasks.

• Perform activities involving complex accounting reports, analyses, and related application inputs.

• Prepare and post journal vouchers for complex accounting transactions.

• Review and monitor financial transactions for accuracy and timeliness.

• Research and resolve complex accounting issues, including internal control assessments.

• Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial results with variance explanations.

• Participate in cross-functional teams and develop project management skills.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting-related roles.

• Knowledge of US GAAP or country-specific accounting principles.
