Town Of Hotchkiss Public Works Technician in Hotchkiss, Colorado
POSITION: Public Works Technician
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Will perform tasks in support of the Public Works Department. Some duties include: street repair and cleaning, maintenance of facilities, groundskeeping, water treatment, equipment operation, plumbing and general labor duties, as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Successful applicants must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check, hold a Class B Water License and a Class C Sanitation License. Weekend Plant Duty is a requirement of all Public Works positions and Public Works is considered part of the emergency response team for the Town of Hotchkiss. Employees must be able to accept on call status and respond within 20 minutes of Hotchkiss Town Hall, 276 West Main St. Hotchkiss, CO
WAGE: $22 - $27 per hour and is based on experience.
SHIFT AND LOCATION REQUIREMENT: Full time, with all public works staff required to fill weekend plant duty and be available for on call status and response within 20 minutes of Hotchkiss Town Hall, 276 W Main St., Hotchkiss, CO.
