Position Purpose The Senior Quality Control Specialist is responsible for developing and assisting in various operational audits for the OpenSky Credit Card Division. This department reviews various functions performed by the OpenSky team and third-party service providers. Assignments are given out on a weekly and monthly basis and must be completed efficiently with a high degree of accuracy. Position relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. In this role, the Senior Quality Control Specialist will also participate in bank wide audits.
Position Responsibilities Effectively coach, motivate, guide and assist a high performing quality conform team Maintain audit schedule for quality control department Develop process reviews as needed based on new functionality released within OpenSky Conduct reviews of various processes performed by internal staff and 3rd party resources to ensure adherence to policy, procedures and regulation Monitor phone calls made by vendors for compliance. Evaluate on skills, product knowledge, and adherence to correct procedures and system use Participate in the Annual CardWorks Servicing Review Participate in internal/external bank wide audits Prepare and present reports related to findings Identify risks and recommend changes to management to reduce overall risk Collaborate with manager or vendor on any process enhancements needed as a result of quality control results Provides feedback using qualitative and quantitative measures to assist in process improvement opportunities and development of training Maintain and ensure accuracy of policies and procedures for the department Other duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Experience College degree in business or equivalent experience 1-3 years of customer service or related banking/financial institution experience Experience working with policies and procedures and methodologies to support an audit or quality control function
Technical Knowledge and Skills Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team under deadlines Exceptional attention to detail and strong organization skills Excellent written and verbal communication Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong knowledge of how processes work in the credit card industry or financial services Self-starter, takes direction well Adept at multi-tasking and work prioritization; thrives in an environment of rapid change Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Working Arrangements This is a hybrid role expected to work in office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. You will be able to work remotely on Wednesday.
Compensation: Base Salary Range: $47,168 - $66,034 annually. Final determination of where you are at in the salary range is based on numerous factors such as relevant experience, skill set, education, and ability to meet qualifications within the job description. Additional Compensation: This role will include a yearly annual targ t bonus based on individual performance.
