Activities Coordinator
Location: Horncastle
Salary: £11.50 Per Hour PLUS a wide range of health & wellbeing benefits, employee perks, and opportunity to develop & progress.
Part-time 20 hours per week
- Applicants must hold a full UK driving license and be 25 years or older for insurance purposes
The Opportunity
This role involves developing and planning programs of activities and events and oversee the activities. Support and enable people to access social networks and maintain their hobbies and interests to the best of their ability. Providing meaningful engagement in a person-centred way, by creating and carrying out activities that promote residents' well-being whilst promoting a diverse and inclusive place to live

What you will do
Organize and plan activities that reflect the preferences of residents
Produce a monthly newsletter and send information to be seen on social media
Plan events, exercise sessions and in-house entertainment
What you will need
We are looking for a passionate and outgoing person to assist our residents to enjoy a fulfilling and meaningful life, maintaining their dignity and helping them to feel valued members of society. You will be promoting independence, choice and inclusion by providing meaningful activity and social integration. Experience in the care sector or caring for another individual, either personally or professionally, would be beneficial, but not essential. What is essential is a friendly, imaginative and compassionate nature, a ‘we can' attitude and an interest in older people.
This job requires an Enhanced DBS to be carried out.
