Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated CNC Machine Operator. You will be trained in the complete setup and operation of CNC Mills and Lathes, working with batches of less than 50 parts before changing to the next setup. The role involves inspecting parts using micrometers, calipers, and various gauges and fixtures. You will also be responsible for finishing, sanding, and grinding parts as needed. The position requires machining on a variety of materials including steel, plastics, brass, titanium, and aluminum. Training on program editing using GibbsCAM and Fusion will be provided.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes.
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and various gauges and fixtures.
Perform finishing, sanding, and grinding of parts as needed.
Manage parts that require multiple operations.
Machine a variety of materials including steel, plastics, brass, titanium, and aluminum.
Edit programs at the machine using GibbsCAM and Fusion.
Produce parts for industries such as medical, aerospace, defense, and pharmaceutical.
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.
Experience in machining, calipers, and blueprint reading.
Familiarity with lathe and mill operations.
Proficiency in using micrometers and inspection tools.
Capability to work in a machine shop environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2-year degree in CNC Machining is a plus, but not required.
Experience as an operator or in changeovers on any type of machinery (plastics, metal fabrication, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and quality control documents.
Willingness to learn and retain information.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00
