Title: Medical Billing Clerk
Duration: 03+ Months Contract
Pay rate: $18.00/hr. on w2 Without benefits.
Location: Hopkinsville, KY 42240
Shift timings: 7.30 AM - 3.30 PM
BG/DT required: Yes

Job Description:

  • Obtains, reviews, and evaluates financial reimbursement information for patient medical services. Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Conduct interviews and obtain information from patient, patient's family, and/or Client concerning responsibility for patient care. Complete new admission paperwork.
  • Establish ability and authority of responsible party for payment of patient services rendered including precertification for patients with insurance. Perform follow up interviews and contacts as needed.
  • Maintain, review, and evaluate patient accounts including posting charges, submitting insurance claims, and posting accounts receivable into Siemens Medical Solutions System.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification:
  • High school graduate. One year experience in insurance/third party billing procedures. Must be able to climb stairs.
