Jennie Stuart Health is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Environmental Services Team Lead. This full-time, regular/at-will position is based at the JSH-Medical Center and offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $10.76 to $16.82, with no travel or per diem required. As an Environmental Services Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include performing the 6 Step Cleaning process to ensure all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness. You will have a thorough knowledge of chemicals used in the cleaning process, including the location and understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for each product. Safety preparedness and skills are paramount in this role, as you will implement safety protocols and respond to codes and operational alerts promptly and effectively. You will be responsible for completing assigned cleaning schedules, ensuring that tasks are carried out efficiently and to the satisfaction of departmental standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities, the ability to manage a team, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision. Required Skills
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Proficiency in the 6 Step Cleaning process
Strong organizational skills to complete assigned schedules
Capability to execute codes and operational alerts
Leadership skills to guide and manage a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to safety and quality standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Required Experience
Less than 1 year of experience in a related field
Prior custodial and/or housekeeping experience recommended
Experience with safety preparedness in a healthcare setting
Familiarity with healthcare environmental services protocols
Proven track record of reliability and punctuality
Experience in leading a team is a plus
History of adhering to safety and health regulations
Previous experience in a medical center or hospital environment preferred
