U.S. Bank is looking for iOS Senior Software Engineer for the Wealth Management Digital software delivery team creates solutions that caters to wealth customers' needs on U.S. Bank online and mobile banking platforms for Wealth Management business line and its priorities. The Senior Software Engineer will be working closely with enterprise teams and the bank’s Chief Digital Office (CDO) the team implementing creative and valuable software solutions that often mirror enterprise solutions, but with a specific Wealth Management flavor. Wealth customers demand unique solutions since they range in net worth anywhere from $100,000 on up to greater than $75,000,000. Our tools of the trade include (but are not limited to) Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React, Android, IOS and Test Automation. We are a fast-growing, client-focused team intent on improving the digit. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development, and maintenance of best-in-class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide Leadership guidance to offshore resources seeing through development, enhancement, and support activities.

  • Involved in technical design and development of applications.

  • Ensure design and code reviews are completed for each release and sprint.

  • Responsible to adherence with standard US Bank product delivery best practices.

  • Responsible to designs across multiple applications are compatible with each other.

  • Ensure product delivery to the agreed upon scope and timeline.

  • Work collectively with development organizations to identify dependencies across work streams.

  • Collaborate with enterprise teams to deliver functional requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal product teams with development and testing efforts and help resolve any issues or roadblocks.

  • Collaborate with project architect to review the requirements with the backend, internal and vendor teams.

  • Certify unit testing is completed and manage any unit test defects to resolution.

  • Ensure development follows the approved solution architecture plan.

  • Responsible for monitoring operation efficiency of application systems.

  • Involved in Identifying opportunities for improvement and recommended technical solutions.

  • Strive in developing best in class experience to our customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 6+ years of relevant experience

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience developing and implementing iOS native applications for mobile phones, and tablets.

  • Excellent Objective C and Swift programming skills.

  • Experience developing and designing reusable components.

  • Experience in code governance and quality metrics.

  • Strong experience in designing and developing native iOS frameworks (API, unit testing, deployment, etc.).

  • Experience with iOS SDK performance tools and optimization.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

  • Familiarity with build systems (grade, maven), CI tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, Nexus).

  • Experience with MVVM architecture pattern.

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $116,280.00 - $136,800.00 - $150,480.00
