Adecco is hiring immediately for Plant Project & Capital Engineering Managers at our local client in Hopewell, VA. Plant Project & Capital Engineering Managers do essential jobs with one of our premier clients, with Annual pay ranges from $66,560 to $83,265 per year, plus available overtime. In this role, you will lead capital projects for new assets at the Manufacturing Plant, collaborating with the Project Team from start to finish. This position includes project preparation, safety analysis, overseeing design (directly or via contract engineers), and ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Available shift Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
10+ years of experience managing large capital projects
Proven success in cost estimating, budget preparation, cost control, and scheduling
Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and work in a team environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills with relevant software
Strong familiarity with building codes, safety, and OSHA regulations
Experience with material handling (dry and liquid), packaging equipment, and process automation
Experience working in a union environment
Lean manufacturing and good manufacturing practices (GMP) experience
