Job Description
Join our team as a Housekeeper and play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe hospital environment. Your typical day will involve being assigned to a specific floor where you will follow a checklist to ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards. Responsibilities include cleaning public restrooms, sinks, counters, and handling garbage, as well as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, stripping linens, and making beds. You may also be tasked with cleaning patient-occupied rooms where you will introduce yourself using a scripted conversation, communicate patient needs to nursing staff, and leave contact information for the Environmental Services (EVS) department.

The position is based in a fast-paced, potentially stressful setting at the hospital located up on the hill in Hood River.
