Position: Purchasing/Inventory Clerk
Pay: Up to $21/hr
Job Overview: Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing/Inventory Clerk to join a healthcare facility in Kaimuki. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in purchasing and inventory management, and will be responsible for purchasing, ordering, maintaining inventories, storing, and billing supplies and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make purchases through approved vendors, ensuring optimal pricing and quality.
- Order, upkeep, and manage inventories of supplies and equipment.
- Store and bill supplies and equipment accurately.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and other team members.
- Perform simple mathematical calculations as required.
- Assist with the physical handling of inventory, including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
- Carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds as necessary.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of related experience in purchasing and managing inventory.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English
- Strong mathematical skills for performing simple calculations.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
