Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager in Honolulu, Hawaii. Responsibilities:
• Collaborate effectively with outsourced HR partners, ensuring their services add value to our organization.
• Implement our human resource strategy, aligning it with our mission, vision, and values.
• Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures, along with the employee handbook.
• Coordinate and schedule training programs for employees.
• Oversee the benefits program and liaise with the outsourced HR partner for payroll coordination.
• Maintain and manage personnel records, leave balances, and documentation in the HR partner’s HRIS.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Federal and State requirements.
• Support recruitment and selection processes, including job description development, resume review, and candidate selection.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires and assist managers with orientation arrangements.
• Coordinate the annual performance review process and serve as a resource to managers on performance management.
• Evaluate market trends to ensure our compensation plans remain competitive.
• Assist managers in effectively implementing policies and procedures and addressing employee concerns.
• Oversee our annual employee engagement study and manage our employee suggestion box program.
• Administer additional benefits outside of the outsourced HR partner’s scope, including our 401k and unemployment insurance programs.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality execution of transactional HR activities in compliance with federal and local laws.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role
• Able to drive change management and employee retention and development
• Familiarity with HCM (Human Capital Management) systems
• Ability to manage and oversee benefit functions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong understanding of compliance regulations within the HR field
• Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations
• Proven track record in implementing effective hiring processes
• Experience in developing and leading employee training programs
