Job Summary: Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Nurse Aides/Certified Caregivers at our Liliha and Kane'ohe Facilities. This is a full-time individual contributor position in the healthcare/medical industry located in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Nurse Aide/Certified Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care and support to our senior clients to help them maintain their independence and improve their overall well-being. Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time position with a salary of $18 to $22 per hour, paid weekly. Scheduling Options : Flexible scheduling Choose your own shifts Recurring shifts, Part-time, Full-time and On-call positions Workplace Selection: Multiple facilities to choose from, select a workplace/ Clients that suit your preferences Responsibilities: - Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and toileting for senior clients in accordance with their care plan - Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping - Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional status to the appropriate supervisor - Promote a safe and comfortable environment for clients by following proper infection control and safety protocols - Foster positive relationships with clients and their families to meet their emotional and social needs - Maintain accurate and thorough records of client care and complete all required documentation in a timely manner - Participate in ongoing training and education programs to enhance skills and knowledge Requirements: - Active certification as a Nurse Aide or Certified Caregiver in the state of Hawaii - Minimum of 1 year of experience working with seniors in a professional setting - Ability to pass a background check and drug screening - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures - Compassionate, patient, and able to provide physical and emotional support to clients - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Call for more details: 808-207-8558 To schedule an interview, click here: www.abcoahu.com EEOC statement: Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
