The DoubleTree by Hilton Alana Waikiki Beach is looking fornext Cook to join the team! Find us on Oahu, at the edge of Waikiki, a ten-minute walk from Kahanamoku Beach. Waikiki Beach, Royal Hawaiian Center, and the Ala Moana Center are within a mile. Waikiki Aquarium and downtown Honolulu are within three miles, and HNL airport is a 15-minute drive.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year cooking experience and a flexible schedule. Hotel and banquet experience is a plus!

What will I be doing?

As a Cook, you wouldbe responsible forpreparing food itemsin accordance withrecipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you wouldbe responsible forperforming the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards

  • Maintain cleanliness andcomply withfood sanitation standards at all times

  • Manage guest orders in a friendly,timelyand efficient manner

  • Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products

  • Stock andmaintaindesignated food station(s)

  • Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen

  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations

  • Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed

The hourly rate for thisposition is $31.33.
