Work you'll do

As a C5ISR Software Development and IT Operations Engineer, you'll work on a fast-paced project supporting a high priority Department of Defense Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) program. You will provide seamless software solutions for strategic, operational, and tactical level planning and operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Write maintainable code, perform peer code-reviews, write technical design documents, and participate in technical design discussions.

• Work in a team environment to collaborate and strive for consensus by making data-driven decisions.

• Work in an agile environment to continuously deliver high quality software.

• Have a high attention to detail, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to drive measurable result.

• Experience full stack web development, using Node, Typescript, React and/or other modern frameworks.

Our Application Modernization and Innovation offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business. We provide operational value, modernized mission solutions, and enhanced technology innovation.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field

• 5+ years of experience in software development, operations, and briefing in a DoD setting

• Experience with full stack web development, using Node, Typescript, React and/or other modern frameworks.

• Familiar with building secure software using modern security principles

• Experience working with GIS tools and common data format

• Active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

• Master's degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or another related engineering or computer science discipline

• Proficiency in systems monitoring, diagnostics and performance analysis tools

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve software systems and applications

• Active TS/SCI Government Clearance

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Hawaii, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,000 to $163,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
