In this role, you have the opportunity to
Join one of our key growth areas of Product Quality team in Kitchen Appliance business, while advancing your career in a dynamic, fast paced and multinational environment of Philips Hong Kong.
You are responsible for
Monitor and execute the appropriate quality plans are made that include all stages of the life cycle of the product and supports Quality Plan design
Validates key design inputs including usability, reliability, performance, supportability, manufacturability, localizability, safety, security, privacy, serviceability, sustainability and costs.
Provides effective oversight of the execution of the Quality Plan, any Risk Management activities, and of all design related activities during the product/system lifecycle
Performs independent technical assessment on product quality performance and post-market product quality analysis
Able to lead quality related problem solving and root cause analysis during design and manufacturing
Uses post-market analytics and statistics to report on product quality performance including provide feedback to manufacturing, suppliers or design teams and initiates field actions when required
Work closely with the OEM/ODM and support the supplier development program in order to provide instruction in compliance with Philips quality requirements
Act as a single point of contact (person assigned to project team) responsible to ensure that hardware design meets quality and compliance standards for every milestone
You are a part of
Key professional talent working for Personal Health – Kitchen Appliance business. You will report to Senior Product Quality Manager which base in Hong Kong office.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor Degree or above in Quality Management or Engineering relevant discipline
Minimum 5-year related working experience, preferably in industrial environment from home appliance industry.
In depth knowledge of product quality management and product knowledge of kitchen appliance is highly preferred.
Strong communication skills with external and internal stakeholders
Good command in English & Chinese (both written & oral)
Independent, proactive, driving for result and good team player
